Mitch_A posted RASCAR points standings after five races. The thread quickly drifted into netiquette teasing about full quoting and then a nostalgic discussion of favourite pinball machines and old tricks for racking up credits.

My Step Grandad rented pinball machines and vending machines in general way back in the 70's. My step dad mamged to save one called @Big Ben@ which still works perfectly. He had one called @Evil Kneivel@ that had an issue where if you could push the flipper fast enough while the ball was inside on of the detent points makers you could snap off 10-15 free games. Do you mean a hole the ball dropped in? Yep, that trick worked on a couple others as well(can't remember which, though). What it(hitting the flippers fast) would do is use up so much power that the kicker couldn't eject the ball. It would keep falling in the hole and giving whatever value it was on at the time.
