N3 Video

Is it just me or was 15 seconds of the Papyrus logo a bit much. That could have cut down alot of download time.

Remember that Nascar Racing 3 was actually raced (not just previewed) at Daytona... and some people saw it. Nevermind, I found what you are talking about... God I love Quicktime 3 :-) Now, suggestion for Papyrus... For your next .mov you release of Nascar 3, please encode it in Quicktime 3. You get a LOT higher quality in a LOT less space. For comparison, grab the new QT3 version of the Star Wars Trailer, and compare it agains the original 24 meg Quicktime. The Nascar 3 movie could have been 2/3 of the size or less, and over twice the resolution, with higher quality sound :-) Brian Short

For those who haven't downloaded it yet (WHO ? hehehe), you can found it at http://trailer.starwars.com/ Download the 15meg QuickTime 3.0 MPEG trailer and realise the difference. Im not bashing Papyrus here, but just telling them there is a way to encode and compress a movie to make incredible results at a low cost. Don't take this as a flame, in fact it's more as a help, because the last thing I want is the general market to download and view the video and say "It looks like Nascar Revolution". Ouch ;( .
