RASCAR league website moved during RSC maintenance

Uwe Schuerkamp posted a direct link to the RASCAR website because the Race Sim Central redirect and forums were down. Comments about the site's hard-to-read menus upset site maintainer Jurjen (JLe), who said he volunteered his time and wanted constructive feedback. Others apologised and discussed adding replays and a rookie-of-the-year award.

Appreciate the apologie. Disclaimer: I actually put in my FREE time into this (including updating the site). The only reward I can get is some feedback, positive or negative. But all I got is people backing off, and/or making fun of it. And when this accumulates in a remark implieing I neglected the substance something triggers ...

The new design threw me at first. Wasn't sure till I played with it a bit, then realized it was intentional. With the changes to the site address and such I was not sure if this was a final design so have been waiting to see what else may be coming. The only thing I would like to see is replays posted. I like the design personally, it is different enough from what is common in design practices to set it off, I like that :-) just my $0.02 Sean <-- has done enough design work to appreciate the time this takes.

Thanks for the feedback Sean :) As for the replays - we're working on that, it's got something to do with Extreme Server. Still got a lot to do about the site. I'm doubting wether or not to put up the RA race-analyses again too if anyone's interested ?? And what about a ROTY contest (who wants to be a rookie) ??

No doubt I qualify as a rookie. With my spring schedule shaping up the way it is I will probably still qual as a Rook next year. I would like to ask at this time that Rascar allow me to maintain my status as a member even though my appearances may be few for several months now. Sean
