FYI: I just visited Papy's site and found some news about the long awaited patch to N2. The patch whilch include a savegame feature AND new spotter routines will be released tomorrow April 2nd. They've even set up an ftp site were it can be downloaded from, so that everyone will have access to it. It can also be d/l from Papy's site. You really got a _huge_ prob. bud! What is it? 'Your wife's got major headaches these days or something? If you can't take a joke on APRIL FOOLS DAY then thats NOT my problem! If you ain't got ANY sense of humor than thats NOT my problem either! I'm just as eager to get my hands on the patch as anyone else in the ng. I waiting just like everyone else - getting more frustrated every day. But i also know that it won't be released any sooner if i whine and grin about it everyday. THe way I see it the joke is on all of us .I don't think Papy is even working on a patch if they were than I think we would have gotten some info by now .It sure seems wierd that all the other software companies can give info on thier patches.What makes Papy and Sierra different.I guess it's those bugy games they put out and never seem to fix. It seems your "irritation" with waiting on the N2 patch is getting to the point of insulting the number one company thats brought us hours of enjoyment. I havent seen ONE patch from any other company that has produced a "true" sim. Take GP2 by Microprose for instance. It was considered "dead" when it hit the shelves! (Check www.dejanews.com if you'd like to read what has been said, or you can continue to (wrongly) assert that absolutely no information has been made available...) ---Jim

Well yes, that's all that's there; from there, you can search for articles (from archived UseNet postings) relating to what you are interested in. You might spend a month working on a patch and 3 months testing to make sure you didn't***up something else in the process. According to what I've heard, Papyrus decided to include a few more fixes in the patch, rather than releasing one now and another one a few months down the road.
