I MADE IN MONZA 1.23.548.
IS ANYBODY WITH BETTER TIME??
Grand Prix 2 Monza lap times compared
A player posted a 1:23.548 at Monza and asked who was faster. Others posted times in the 1:21 to 1:22 range, pointed to the GP2 Hall of Fame and Sim Racing News track guides, and noted that times of 1:20 and below existed. The thread ended in a debate over whether driving with a keyboard was more or less challenging than using a wheel.

Automated summary.
Gradully getting down. 1.23.548 on Monday (co-incidence), 1:23.298

BTW, it helps if you say what aids you use.

I don't think you'll see any posts of replays until the results of the contest
come in and it's over and done with.

NASCAR, I have managed a 1:22.xxx within three days of serious learning and
setting up a car for Monza. I am still learning though. It will probably take as
long or longer to learn how to setup a car, like I did for NASCAR and Indycar
II.
If those of you wondering my top speed, it's 331 kph.
Now, this is with a Gravis Analogue Joystick and "Auto Shift", and no other help
aids!! I know there is faster people out there, but for three days..come on
now..Give me some credit.
I would like to thank all the people who has helped me out for their "ideals" on
setting up a car for GP2.
I agree with John on the theories on the "Dampener" settings..Makes sense. I
have tried other ways that people have suggested, and the car was unstable in
the turns. I had more "leverage or traction" using the methods by John.
I have also downloaded "bigger"***pits and have noticed a "lower" processor
occupancy rating.
What is so strange is that, when I add more graphic details, my braking
distances get longer. Which means, I have to brake earlier than usual. Any
comments on experiences on this??
Not bad for a "roundy-roundy" boy, huh, J. Wallace??; ) I am looking forward to
the September's SRN issue..
There's one road course for ya!!;) More on the way..hehehe
take care all...

alta-vista to find it.) There is a couple of 'track guides' for gp2
in it. Monza is one of them (August Edition) What is GOOD about
them is well.. the times 1.21.xxx, the descriptions of what to do,
the replay of how it was done AND the car setup they used to do it
with.
Stealing their car setup, I managed to drop 3 seconds a lap.. still a
couple behind them, but hey, at least it's competitive now.
Definately worth the looking.

Im able not to do lightning fast laptimes, but I'm able to get to the
20sec in Imola. NOt bad. Only now I'm going to be able to _my_ car
setups, so I'm looking forward to improve it...
