My god ! I don't believe it ! So Microprose knows what Internet is? And they know that r.a.c exists? Yeah. Are they a "leading interactive entertainment software publisher" with softs from non-Microprose employees like Geoff Crammond, or with craps like Virtual Karts and Grand Prix Manager? today Please notice they tell us the year ;) -- ************************************************** * Have you ever tried a Steve Lol Experience ? * * Grand Prix 2 - Need for Speed * * http://www.imaginet.fr/~stevelol/ * * (Netscape 2.0 needed) * **************************************************

This is a common indication that the writer is attempting to add humor to their post. The <g> is short for "grin" (i.e., to draw back the lips so as to show the teeth, esp. in amu***t or laughter). Actually <g> is long for grin. Since I can type grin faster and easier than SHIFT/<,g,SHIFT/> ;-) -- **************************** Michael E. From Ian Weavers 14-7-96 HA HA HA Spectrum intends to ship GP2 on 23 July. They intended to ship it Sept 1995! Why should we believe them this time? From a disgruntled fan who spent a couple of hours looking around Silverstone for this elusive product. But I did have a go on the F1 Sony Playstation game and I was given a six*** page colour brochure on the game which is due out in October for the PC. Ian.

Do you really believe the world's so na?ve and you can fool us (again!!!) with a fantasy release date???. SH-MPS are fooling us with release dates for almost a year now and still they seem to be thinking everyone takes this *** (read as: kissing the asses of the people from SH-MPS) You can do whatever you want because you know that most of your customers are 'narrow minds' that will still buy it when it finally comes out in 199... I hate this arrogantic display typically for the software industry. I'm also waiting but NOT to buy it. I'll get an ILLEGAL copy from the day it's available in the stores. And so should everyone reading this too (don't spent your money on a company that doesn't care about it's customers!!!). An eye for an eye ... To hell with SH-MPS! "Anger got bare knuckels Anger play the fool Anger wear a crown of thorns Reverse the golden rule" P.S. The only reason you can't bring it out (yet) is that you're not 100% sure the game is BSE free (the Britisch national disease). -- My mind is not for rent To any god or government
So then we'll never get any more great products like GP2. Yes, you're REALLY clever.... The rest of Europe has as much as if not more BSE compared to Britain - look at the number of cattle destroyed in France every year for this problem. Can't you see political bullshit when it's shoved under your nose? Careful, your xenophobia is showing. What an ***....

By "the number of cattle destroyed in France every year for this problem" ??? "BSE" Bovine Spongiform En....something-or-other :) (I can't remember!) More commonly known as "Mad cow disease" - most countries in Europe have this, Britain is just the famous one for political reasons. Nothing against other countries, just pointing out some facts (which have nothing at all to do with sim-racing!!). Cheers! Mad Cow Disease Cases (known) last year: United Kingdom = 186,000+ cases The rest of the World Combined = 384 cases (BBC Radio News). Jim Boka

Ummmmm... Shut up, please. To commit a crime is foolish. To say you intend to commit that crime is idiotic. To say you are going to commit a crime and then go and commit it makes you certifiably psychotic. Might want to check on the penalties for pirating and distributing pirated software before you decide to do it, much less tell the world you do it. Besides all this, you're wrong about the release dates. Do your homework next time. I would also not recommend travel plans to the UK anytime soon with that attitude. "...of all the weapons in the world, by far the most devestating and destructive of them all is the power of words."...unknown
>So when is the USA release date? 7/23/1996 is the official release date for the US and worldwide. You should be able to buy it in some areas on the same day or the next day depending on how the retail chain ship their new products (overnight/2 day etc.) Best, Gabriel/Spectrum HoloByte & MicroProse support

it is coming for sure. You oughta tell your sales people. Talk to some moron in sales that didn't even know it was close to coming out, said "end of this month or beginning of next". Los
>will you be shipping the game to customers who have bought it directly >from microprose ON the 23rd? how soon should we expect it to arrive? Hi Denis, If you ordered the game through our direct sales operation: Your order will ship on the 23rd. If you asked for overnight, you will get it on the 24th. All other regular mailings will get there depending on how far away you are from San Diego California and how long the postal office takes to deliver. Best, Gabriel/Spectrum HoloByte & MicroProse support
>You oughta tell your sales people. Talk to some moron in sales that didn't even >know it was close to coming out, said "end of this month or beginning of next". Hi Los, I'll pass the message.
