Third NASCAR 4 screenshot shows a flipping car
Papyrus's third NASCAR Racing 4 screenshot showed cars, including one nearly flipping. Posters admired the car models, reflections and shadows, noted the 16:9 letterbox aspect ratio, and predicted heavy hardware requirements and chaotic online races with flipping cars.

I never bothered doing the calculation, but the screen resolution is
800x450 and thus has an aspect ratio of 16:9. Could they be possibly
supporting 16:9 video modes now? Maybe it is time to save on that Sony

Hi,
Pretty cool! 2 things I noticed:
1) The nice shadows, on the 12 car and under the 83
2) The spring adjustment on the lf tire of the 83, it looks like it is kind
of hanging down due to the fact that the car is in the air!

Flipping cars is cool and about time I might add.
Imagine what multiplayer races are going to be like. There are going to be
cars flying everywhere.
I am mostly impressed with the car model. It has many more curves than N3
does and it actually looks like on the real WC cars.
I am not familiar with GP Legends so I have no expectations of how the
physics will feel. But I can say that I am not too fond of how it feels in
N3 and never have been since the series Nascar Racing series started. So my
guess is it can only get better.
I am very excited about this sim. I bet it is going to be dangerously
addictive.
I hope the system requirements are not too steep. However, I am sure I will
need to upgrade my P2 400 before then. That which, I plan to do anyway.

widescreen. What I would like to see is full use of a widescreen
monitor, that is 16:9 aspect ratio screen resolution without the black

Letterbox treatment of GPL to make it's way into Nascar. Your screen
will be 1024x768 but the viewable area will probably be that 800x450
scale.
Just, as usual, guess tho
What you may need is one very serious cpu upgrade tho if you expect to
run full fields and show a lot of visual graphics.

The problem is: Do you really want to play your sim on the TV ? I have
a 32" Sony Widescreen, and although it is super for DVD-movies,
wouldn't a sim be too pixelated. Maybe FSAA would do wonders...
A anamorphic 16:9 mode would be great though.
