Hello,
We would like to remind all of you who have fun by playing/racing Grand
prix 2 that the next race for the IRS Grand prix 2 World Championship will
be held this weekend. We will organise the Pacific Grand Prix on TI Aida
circuit.
Time to beat at this moment is incredible: 1:07.545 (Competition Hot Lap).
This lap time is set by former Italian karting champion Nicola Della Gioia.
He set a gap of almost 1 second in front of Dave Mansell from Australia
(both analog).
We don't ask you to beat these guys, because maybe this is to much for you
(or maybe not). But we've made a ranking system (based on the Dutch Indoor
Karting Championship AIP-ranking) which is as fair as possible. Digital
drivers can competite with analog drivers. If you drive slower as both guys
above, it's no need to not send your laptime. The first 50 (!) competitors
of both the analog and digital devision earn points from 500 to 1 point.
You are not forced to competite in all races, it's your choice. The more
you drive, the more points you win.
Visit the International Racing Site (http://www.racesimcentral.net/) and send your
laptime today! (we accept hotlaps till Sunday morning). We can create a
nice atmosphere or pressure in the Championship, because it's your choice
if we add your lap to the COMPETITION too directly after you send it or
after the CHAMPIONSHIP race on Sunday. So people do not know what time you
set for the Championship race, but they have a lead on the Competition
list.
As you could read on the Web Site, we won't add limitations to the setup of
a car. Most of the competitors in the IRS Series voted 'no' to the
question: Should we add limitations to the setup of a car?
We hope to receive a reply, with attached a Hot Lap, before next Sunday.
Note: There are currently about 100 different competitors from a lot of
different countries in the world. It will be great if you al send your Hot
Lap, a lot work for us but
good fun for you!
Have fun, join now!
Onno Ceelen
