Hi,

I'm looking to finnaly buy a wheel in the future. I know the T2 is a great
one, but is there one that is cheaper? I mean one that will suit your
needs.

Are you looking to buy a dog or a steering wheel?  The T2 is about as cheap
as they come, but I think they're great for the price.  The mad catz may be
slightly cheaper, but I don't have any experience with them.

If you like the T2 (but want something cheaper), then go get a
Thrustmaster GP1 wheel...it has buttons for shifting and levers
for gas & brake...This should save you $20-30 bucks or so.

For more info, go to the Thrustmaster site at:

I built my own wheel pedal-combo for under 40$. It was somewhat
difficult but very rewarding.
Try Wally's World home page for instructions to create your own setup.
Wally is both knowledgeable and helpful. I have a few tips to share
also.
Good Luck,
Rhett

A friend of mine has a a Mad Katz and seems to like it very well. I
drove with it one time and it was very stable. I like the feel of the
T2 better, however. But, if you're looking to save $40.00, the Katz
doesn't seem a bad choice.

The MadCatz is a great wheel is you search for a great quality/price
ratio.  And for less than 100$ also.  Thanks a lot.
