Icks's Wheel Exxes

I've just finished practice at Zandvoort, I got a couple of seconds
before the race starts, so I go to LIVE FEED. There's Jackie's Cooper
off to the side of the road. I couldn't remember hitting anyone before I
pitted, so I ran the replay to see what had happened to him. He's coming
down the straight and suddenly his right front wheel comes flying off.
He slides off the track and the wheel goes rolling past.
Realism....I love it.

Icks's Wheel Exxes

I had a simular incident. I was on the back straight at Monza with Gurney about
10 carlengths ahead of me when first I see suspension pieces go flying then his
left front wheel just separated and came bouncing back at me.  Wish I could say
I did a heroic job of avoidance but I ended up in the Parabolica sand trap along
with the Ferrari that was behind me.  The replay showed that Gurney never
touched anything the whole race, just a failure all on it's own.
