Is there a way to stop these *** terrorists?? I've heard of
kill files wht do they do?? Is there a way to banthem from the group???
Those smart missles do you think that they can hit a house by analizing
a news group post??? (Just kidding on that last one)

It's not a MAIL BOMB or nothin! What they do is hit a button. Say your
tired of hearing about GP2. Well when you hit the button it has a
blank to fill in, well then you type GP2 and you'll never hear about
it again!

"Kill files" are just settings for newsreaders that tell them to ignore
certain individuals or topics. When you find someone to be a pain, you just
add them to the list and you won't see any messages from them. The
newsreader I use also supports the opposite of a kill file, sort of a
"genius file", that says you always want to see posts from certain
individuals. Unfortunately, sometimes the "geniuses" reply to someone on
the kill file list and I see the messages quoted, but I can live with that.
