rec.autos.simulators

the gtr2002, v3 readme says "V3 mod requires you to have applied the
official development patches (available at the EA website)."  can
someone provide a url for this?  ea's site is totally confusing; i
don't see any "download" links for f12002.  i tried blackhole,
gamecopyworld, megagames, and gamespy/fileplanet.  no luck.  it would
be nice if the gtr team would put a link to this necessary patch on
their webpage.

  I have a great version of the patches from F1 Relay.  Unfortunately they
are offline.  If you want, send me your email and I'll forward the already
patched .exe file that also has a nocd built in.

You are talking about the F1 2001 mod: FIAGTmodV3 aren't you? if so, the f1
2001-site (at EA) had them under "development updates" or something like
that. as far as i know, there are no such thing for the 2002-version (yet).
just install the gtr2002 like the readme says (on the F1 2002-base of
course) and you will be fine...

whoa.  i just figured out my confusion.  it appears i've downloaded
v3, which is for f1-2001.

Umm - are you getting FIAGT v3 (F1-2001) and GTR-2002 (F1-2002)
confused?  I never heard of any patches for F1-2002, but there was
*definitely* a dev patch for 2k1.
Then again, I didn't read the readme, so what do I know ;)?
