They ARE just publishers. They OWN the WSC code because as publishers
they funded the Wests during development. When the two parties couldn't
agree on just what WSC should be, Empire stopped funding. Total Immersion
Racing takes the previously granted and paid for licenses for WSC and
applies them to a *** built sports car sim. The cars that 'would' have
been in WSC are in TIR as are the tracks, at least that is my impression.
But WSC as we knew it...will most likely never see the light of day.

I read in a German *** mag (take with a grain of salt) that WSC would
now be released as Total Immersion Racing. Sounds like a name change and
will probably be a simplified version of WSC, numbers sold being more
important to Empire.
