There was also Microsoft Space Simulator... As far as I remember it went on
the market near 1992-93. I think it was fairly good, mostly based on the
Flight Simulator engine. My friend had it, and I do remember that it was
fairly easy to use but also very sophisticated.
rec.landspeeder.simulators (ok.. Star Wars reference #49 for me, but hey the
landspeeder is the Earth's version of a auto hehe)

There was even a shuttle sim on the VCR2600 Atari games console!

I had that in 1981!! You almost needed two people to play it from all the
option and etc. switches, plus two joysticks, you had to operate. I had just
sold my Radio Shack Model I with 48K and TWO floppy drives for $1500 and bought
an Atari 800 with a 300bps modem. Once I got ***ed to Compuserve, I gave
away my 2600 to a friend's kids.
My God!
