RASF1 Canada?

Did anyone race?  I haven't seen any discussion about it.  If no one wants to
run anymore, I'll save myself the aggravation of starting the server every
week...

Thanksgiving weekend is questionable since I expect some relatives to be
over.  But after that I would like to finish out the schedule.

David Fisher & I were the only ones there for a while. Josh B. came
in late (he had mistaken the start time). I was having a frustrating
time: my setup which had been good for 1:21's on practice days, had
mysteriously gone south on me. At several of the corners, the back
end of the car was snapping around suddenly. I think my best practice
run was something in the neighbourhood of a 1:27.

Josh did something to get a DQ beside his name. Perhaps he'll fess
up. I didn't see it, so I can't rat on him. <grin>

In any case, I abandoned the race while still in practice sessions.

I'd certainly like to see the series continue. Both Hal and Dave
Henrie posted messages saying they couldn't make it, but where was
everyone else? (OK, the guys in remote time zones have a legit
excuse, but still... Did everyone who initially signed up move to
Australia?)

I just finished a practice session for Europe. I hope there will be a
race. If everyone *has* moved to Australia, they won't be tied up
celebrating the US Thanksgiving. <VBG>

Yeah... uhmm.. I mistakenly left the pits the wrong way during qual. Sounds
like a reason to penalize me.

But anyway, I always look forward the weekend races with you guys, and
hopefully we can get a group to show up to most races. Myself, I try to
attend every weekend, but with work, and real life I do have to miss a few.

Lets not give up yet.

I wasn't sure if it would even be up, given it wasnt last time, and there
wasn't any discussion about it.

The last time I saw the RASF1 room up, it was in hotlap mode so I couldnt
get in anyway :\

Maybe I need to go back to posting a DM about the upcoming race...

Hotlap mode?  You probably caught it right before I kicked the server to make
it go to the track...  It sits there and waits for me to click the check mark.
Stupid ***ing game.  Grrr...

I'm still up for it Eldred and as always I appreciate what you do for us. I
did leave a post saying I'd miss last Sunday (first miss for me). I'm back
in the swing now and will be there this weekend.

Regards
