Nascar2 Demo Performance

I got the demo installed and everything works great.  When I go out on
the track, the video seems to "hang" for an instant every 1/3 of a lap.
Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions on how to fix it?
My system: Gateway P166, Matrox MGA Card, 16M Ram.  I created a shortcut
that restarts the program in DOS by copying my Nascar1 shortcut (which
works flawlessly) and adding nas2demo.exe instead of nascar.exe.

Try running it under DOS.  The pause is Win 95 paging.  Yes, NASCAR 2
will run from Win 95 reliably, but we have no control over the actual
Win 95 code, and the amount of paging Mr. Gates & the boys in Redmond
seem to enjoy.
