I've just discovered this morning that the planned multiplayer
option in the PC version of Le Mans 24 Hours didn't make it
into the final code.

I think its interesting that 'Kev' who is on the staff
of the developer or producer just learned 'this morning'
that MP was missing .

The game is apparently already on shelves in Germany, U.K.
and elsewhere.

Why do you find some suspicion with that?  He's not with Infogrames. It
is just possible for one to be unaware of exactly what did and did not
get included in a final release, you know.  Depends what his job is and
what his responsibilities are.
