I need to know how to make custom controls in GP2!  I've the manuel and
did what it said and I still can't set any of my accel, braking, and
shifting controls.  Help!  Also, do you have to register Paul Hoad's
track editor to make totally new tracks, or is it only for editing ones
already made?

There is  a button for making a new control (or was it rename?), use it, and
call it what you want.
The default control can't be adjusted.

From the Main Menu choose Control Method, select anyone named "Unused", then
click Advanced. You should be able to edit everything and give it the name
you like.

Do you have a wheel? If so, there should be a .con file in the GP2FILES
directory on the CD. You can load this in CONTROLS and then configure it
more specifically - remember to save your changes into a newly named file
with the .con suffix.

I use a GP1 wheel and have to load the .con set every time I start up the
game and then calibrate, but once I've done this it works like a charm.
