I'm thinking of picking up GPL, but I have a problem with the demo.  The game
closes out and I'm kicked back to the desk top after awhile.  It could be 20
minutes or just 2.  I was wondering what could be doing this?  Overheating of
the video card?  Another question I have is I've heard a lot about VROC.  Does
it cost money to use this to race against other people on-line?

What video card are you using, because GPL has a tendancy to crash when
switching modes on a Voodoo 2.  Does the game always crash when you are in
the menus?  Also i've known GPL to crash sometimes when viewing spectacular
crash replays, where the cars get into places they shouldn't.
And Vroc is free and easy to use.
