How much would you consider spending for a super FF wheel. I'm just
wondering, but you never know where this information could end up.
I know there are quite a few people who have purchased TSW or the excellent
Redline wheels and pedals. But what if the FF wheel:

* was smoother than the LWFF
* was more capable of feeling subtle FF than the LWFF
* had the steering resolution and precision of the TSW, Redline or Ferrari
wheels
* was even more rugged than the Force RS
* had virtually no drag from belts or cables
* had ball bearings on all rotating parts
* used a gated shifter like the Force RS
* had smooth, long travel pedals with progressive brake feel and a clutch
* had high quality, F1 style paddle shifters
* had a good looking, high quality GT style steering wheel
* was rated as having unbelievable performance in every review

Now, would it add value to you if the steering wheel had a quick change
feature so you could switch between a GT style wheel and an F1 style wheel?
(optional wheel at extra cost, of course)

I'm guessing that by now most of realize that the wheel is the only real
interface we have that actually connects us to the sim. Some are spending
more that $400 for a video card, but the feel and precision of the wheel and
pedals does more for fast, consistent lap times.

Okay, I'll go first. I'm feeling a little bit cheap today knowing that I've
gotta pay for my daughter's braces, so I'll say I'd go as high as $350
(maybe $399 if it's real pretty) for a wheel like this that would last a few
years. What about you gents?

If this wheel had all the qualities of a Professional Sim  Controller that
you describe, I would pay $500 to $750 bucks easy. I am so unhappy with all
the wheels Ive had and seen('cept the TSW stuff) that I would pay just about
whatever you wanted for a wheel like that.

I would not pay *more* than `$2000 for a wheel. But up to that point,
yeah, I'd go for it, if it was as you decribe. Being single with no
social life is great!

I draw the line at 2 million I absolutely refuse to pay a penny more unless
the wheel was round and then, and only then, could I be swayed to part with
3 million only with a extended warrenty of 1 year of course.

I would add 360 degrees turning radius of the wheel  to the feature list. At
the moment I could go up to $700.

Good grief - it's a different world. I'd expect at leat two *PCs* for
that - with enough left over for a wheel!
