Two Heat questions...

by Bruce Mill » Tue, 24 Sep 2002 06:15:02

First, is there anything I can do to reduce the "jaggies" in this game
when running a Radeon 64DDR?  I am running at the game's highest
resolution.

Second, in the DTM mod my car seems to "wander" too much.  I have read
the US Pits advice on this, but no help.  I don't have this problem
with the main game or the other mods that I have installed.  Anyone
know how to fix?

Does the Radeon 64 have FSAA?  That would be your best bet.

In the controllers section, click on the advanced button.  There is a
slider for NON-linerity or something similiar group with the wheel slider.
Move that all the way to the left.  That should sharpen up the steering
some.
And  have you zero'd out the built in Deadzone in Direct X?  There are
several utilities that will do this...dxtweek2 from the  teamwingman site
should do the trick.
