I have got a set of BRD pedals which tun on there own USB port, but i want
to remove the Momo ones on my Logitech system as they are in the way.. daft
reason i know.
Basicly could i remove the pedal unti but keep the wires there.. maybe i
could put all the bits in a box or something..??

Just stand the momo pedals on their end, and put them somewhere out of
the way.

If that's the red momo you can use this adapter:
http://tytlandsvik.no/momo/
There will be a terminator plugged into the adapter instead of the MS-Pedals
(the upper wire on the picture). As you can se the DC-power and an ordinary
USB cable is plug's into the adapter.
If you want to save a few bucks and modify your wire harness, you'll find
schematics at the bottom of the page.

Remove pedals

I did this - I opened up the pedal's box - unplugged the cables from the two
pots - then using the calibration program running in windows - tried to make
sure i got the wires of each pot connected together so they all were showing
zero.  Then just taped them all into a little bundle and got rid of the
pedal box
