Optimising GP2 sessions anyone?

What sort of memory does it use/need (DPMI, EMS or XMS) - 32 Mb
available but how to distribute? How many XMS handles if it uses XMS?

How many file handles does it need/want?

How many file control blocks does it need/want?

Obviously give it a setup with 640k base memory, but is there any
advantage or penalty to putting DOS high?

UMB access needed.....or an advantage?

Any techies - Microprose linked or otherwise - can help with this?

(in case you wondered, it runs a treat from my OS/2 desktop with no
apparent performance difference from native DOS [unlike Win95
apparently form comments made here] but I'd like to get it's session set
up for the best)

Cheers!

I found a 5% improvement in performance by not loading emm386. It is also
very important to tune your bios correctly, eg, get ctcm.
