NR2K2 painting tutorial?

I know there are tutorials on painting with PSP and Nascar 3, but I've never
found anything on NR2002.  Are there any updated instructions using
Photoshop or PSP's newer versions?

Car painting really hasn't changed, and the programs have added features but most are not used for
car painting, so most of the tutorials are still completely valid IMO.  The simpson site at
Team-lightspeed has some of the best info and a few links if you dont already know about it.

This site is the business:
http://apexwebs.net/ifreezn/rps/tutorial_intro.html

Yes, it's based around older versions of PSP and NASCAR sims (so you
may already know about it), but it's still totally relevant.  Things
you *will* need are layered templates for cars and crew and some nice
contingency decals.  I'm at work now so can't give you links, but I'm
sure a search will help out.  In fact, I think the official Sierra
site has some templates...

I can't believe I used to work pixel-by-pixel in N2...

Cheers,

Thanks...I've read that before and had troubles with the big differences in
PSP5 and PSP7.  I will give it another try! :)

Thanks

There is all kinds of help available at that site...where were you looking?  If you don't know how
to use PSP, then look for tutorials on PSP elsewhere.  The template help tells how to use virtually
every layer in the files from Simpson's site...

God, now I have to read the manual too!?  I want to get right to it, no
manuals, just do it now.  Surely there is a tutorial for that. :)

Thanks...downloading everything now....

Don't worry.

The lousy NR2002 manual only takes 3 minutes to read, and half of that is
the credits in the back.
