N3 car lists

There are several .car files in my N3 cars folder that are not available to
choose from when I try to create a new list. Is there a way to have all car
files show up on the left hand column so I can create a customer entry list.

Thanks in advance. Carl

I guess it's still limited to (i think) 128 cars in the all list... I
thought they got over that, but maybe not... see how many .car files
you have, and then see how many it's showing in the list... I only
have 90 and all of them show up... if it is still only allowing 128, I
don't know of any way to increase it..

I worked around it in N99 (I have over 200 cars there and it's a huge
pain in the butt) by temporarily moving a bunch of cars that I knew I
wasn't going to use in the new list to a different directory so that I
could see all the ones that I was going to use... this won't hurt your
entry lists that are using those cars (just don't select one while
they're not there...) and once the new list is made, move all of them
back... it sux, but better than nothing...

Nascar Sim world has a patch called Hauler that manges lots of cars

The limit is now 512 in N3.  Any more than that, and they won't display.
Personally, I've got over 900 car files (wonder what the record is?)

Anyway, to get around this, use the most EXCELLENT utility called NrHQ,
which you can get here
http://www.vii.com/~danej/NrHQ.html

It is also well worth the registration price.

Yes, I do believe NR3 limits the number of *.CARs to be displayer to 512
(but it does not matter if your racing online if a competitors car is
displayed in driver info or not, as long as their *.CAR is in the /CARS/
directory it will be seen.)
Like was suggested, I do believe NRHQ will allow you to compose a list of
*.CARs of your choice from Windows.
