error message 0x80070725 incomopatible version of the RPC stub

by g » Sun, 19 May 2002 18:53:19

I am getting this error message when I try to install games.

I've tried 2 new games, 1 is a full release of V8 Challenge, and the other
a demo EA F2002.

Neither game wil install and the error message 0x80070725 is displayed,
which say Incomopatible version of the RPC stub.

I have re installed Win 98 and direct X 8.1 with no luck.

Can anyone please identyiy the error and advise a possible outcome?

Many thanks

that pop up.
