...the answer to my question about the "economic pack" of Nascar???

Well, forget about the economic pack for a minute, let's consider
the boxed version and make it like this, so everyone with the American or
European manual can help me (pelase please please, I want to buy this game!):

You folks with who own the game, please tell me what your manual
looks like, and if it is the American or European version.

The only clue I have about the one I guess I should buy is that
it is mainly white, with some chequered flag like picture with a
car on the front (mostly blue and yellow I think). On the back
side of the manual there's and address to Papyrus. The size of the
book is approx 5x8 inches (14x21 cm).

Please help me before I, like, die or something!

/Michael

I Have the American version and on the front is a bunch of cars going into a
turn, just like on the box, if you've seen that.

The regular American manual is about 175 pages. The first European version
had far fewer pages. If you have the European manual you can contact the
*** UK office and they will replace the manual with the a newer one.

I've seen some posts concerning qualifying speeds, etc where it's been
noticed that the game doesn't give the same speeds as we're used to.
Here are the BLAPS and REL settings I'm using in the text files for
each track. I made them in the following fashion:
1) went back over 2 years of qualifying
2) made some adjustments for weather (where I knew it), cars (Monte
Carlo's in particular, well, actually Jeff Gordon), and resurfacing.
3) ran them in the game over and over under a variety of weather
conditions, to get them so 1 or 2 cars would break the track record or
an "adjusted" track record (particularly for Darlington, which was just
recently resurfaced).
These numbers, against a 100% field, using the IWWC BGN and WCS sets,
gives pretty close numbers to the current pole positions, with some
suprises from time to time.
NOTE I'M NOT USING THE STOCK PAPYRUS SETS.
NOTE: I AM NOT SUGGESTING YOU ALTER YOUR GAME TEXT FILES NOR AM I
SUGGESTING THAT YOU WILL GET THE SAME RESULTS I HAVE.(disclaimer for
those that can't change their BLAPS and REL's easily)

I've included BGN setting for Martinsville for those who are running 94
seasons..the "holes" in the BGN schedule are there as they don't run
there.

Comments are of course welcome >:>
