It should be out this fall, not in 1998.
Hopefully it will follow-up and improve on all of the great features of
Rally Championship.
One of the most exciting things is that it will come packaged with a track
editor!!!
I can't wait!

For all the specifications some new cars(3 new cars and Lancer EVO IV
as well) , 3DFX support (Now Win95 game), Force Feedback Wheel
support, Track Editor (yeah), split screen 2 player mode and loads of
new features.
Come on Europress in the UK update your site with all the info, Your
newspage has been dead for weeks (coming up for months now)

The engine looks better than before, but who knows...

Well, I just read at www.pcme.com that *** USA has relased
IORR, International Off Road Racing. This is what we in Europe
bought as Network Q RAC Rally last year.
From what I could see it is exactly the same game. Hopefully
we in Europe will get version two because they can't possibly
sell this same stuff to us again. It isn't even 3DFX enhanced.
Poor US customers... This sim is kind of fun but it's gettingg
old!
And calling it "Off Road" !?!?!? The single most important
complaint about this game was the lack of driving off the road.
You always just bounce back against an invisible wall...
I can't understand why PCME didn't even bother to mention the
age of this racing game...

Actually, you cannot tell anything about the "engine" from the screenshots
re: your earlier complaint. The "invisible walls" annoyance from the
original RC hopefully will be gone in the new one, but that has nothing to
do with the sim "engine"--it is simply a programming decision/compromise.
The substantially wider tracks available in X-Miles, which uses the same RC
"engine" demonstrates my point.
Well, it looks as though there's a true 3D environment, but I am wary,
and I'm also bracing myself for a disappointment.
