Hello to everyone out there that needs a hot setup to beat me!!! I sure
would like a good setup for some of the tracks (ie:Tally, Mich..etc) to
be competitive..I have raced a tone of races in which I have started
dead last and ended up with a top 5 finish...any info on a good setup
would be great..and yes..if you help me out..I will remember you on the
track : )

If you are consistently starting last and finishing in the top 5, it sounds
like the rest of us need your set-ups.

Marc.

(one australian racing from AUS, some french from Paris, a lot of
Americian.....) but all together on that virtual racetrack

Yes Bart, online racing does exist, some of it is good, some not so good,
but this should give you an idea of what's available.

For modern F1 racing there is Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2
(MGPRS2):
http://www.monacoracing.com/
http://www.mgprs2.com/

For vintage(1967) F1, Grand Prix Legends (GPL), IMO the best racing
simulation at this time:
http://www.sierra.com/
http://www.papy.com/
http://vroc.net/
http://website.lineone.net/~richardn/
http://simracing.com/alison/gpl/

For NASCAR racing try the new NASCAR 3 (N3), also from Sierra/Papyrus:
http://www.sierra.com/
http://www.nascar-3.com/index.shtml
http://www.papy.com/

And for some great sports car action try Sports Car GT (SCGT):
http://www.sportscargt.com/
http://www.gtinsider.com/
one note on SCGT, I have not tried it online, but I understand it does work,
maybe someone here can provide further info.

Hi Bart, Yes, there are loads of computer racing games that can be raced
on the net.

Try Grand Prix Legends (GPL) where up to 20 people can race at once
using F1 cars from the 1967 season, on the tracks that were used in 1967
including the Ring (all 14 miles and 175 corners of it!)

Also try TOCA2 where you can race Touring Cars.

There is also Nascar and Indy car racing, and modern F1 racing too.

There is also Monster Truck racing, and a couple or Motorbike racing
games too, or how about Rallying? try Colin MaCrae Rally....

Then there are fictional racing games, such as Motohead (futuristic) or
Big Red Racing (whacky cartoony racing) or try Re-Volt (remote
controlled cars)

To find out more about these games, simply do a serach on the net.
