How can I get my viper550 to work in software mode in nascar2. It plays the
video and then locks up.

Make sure you have the patch installed on N2 (v1.03) and the latest drivers
for your Viper.  You should have no problem running N2 in software mode with
the Viper 550.

You can also edit the n2.bat file in the Nascar2 directory and REM the
smackply line so that the intro doesn't play, this has helped some people to
get it working.
