I was racing around Phoenix, getting yellow after yellow
after yellow (as I normally do on the ovals). On the last yellow,
I said enough was enough and started racing around, passing
everything in sight. The game, of course, said "Stay behind
the pace car". I, of course, ignored it, and proceeded to
put about 6 laps ahead of the rest of the field before going
to green again. I was black flagged, came in for my stop and
go, and came back out 5 laps ahead of the rest of the field.

What would happen in a regular indycar race if some lunatic
did this? Disqualification? Criminal prosecution?

I also tried this the other day except that when I came in for
the black flag it held me there until everyone else had caught
up the laps.  This is wht I would have expected.

Also, has anyone noticed how fuel efficient these cars really are?
I have noticed on a couple of occasions now, although I have not
checked on it enough to say it for fact, that the cars burn no fuel
in reverse or idl.  This is rather dissapointing considering
the obvious amount of effort that goes into the formula for the
correct burning of fuel in a forwards direction.

I doubt that he/she (got to remember Lyn St. James) would ever be
allowed to drive a street car again, never mind an IndyCar.
Seriously, I believe the perpertrator(sp?) would either be:
        1. Outright disqualified
        2. Held in the pits until he was x+ laps down
