LSF:TSW2 still doesn't work

I just installed the latest patch. Tried every combination, but I
still can't get my TSW2 with or without split axis to work. The car just
goes straight at 5 mph.  My TSW2 is plugged into the game port. Do I need
the USB adapter to get it to work?

Joel,

I am in the same boat, I can't get my TSW2 to work.  It seems like the Z
axis works ok for gas, but I can't get brakes.  Someone help, it looks like
fun.

Do you guys have any other controllers plugged in, too? My gameport MSFF
wouldn't work until I unplugged my USB gamepads...
