Hey y'all,
Just wondering if you can easily (or not so easily) change the time of
day in GP2, ala the rend. ICR2.
Sometimes I just get tired of racing at noon, when it's 2 am outside.
No big deal.
Thanks!

In other words, I don't think you can. I'm in the same situation (early
morning drives), but find the simulated sunshine almost cheery.
Mike.
Thanks guys,
Good suggestions, the water on the monitor one seems to work best, but
I've settled into just wearing my dad's old welding goggles and racing
that way.
Or just squinting real hard.
See you at the track, after the sun goes down.

Wanna drive at night? Try Network Q RAC Rally by Europress! You can
drive night stages in arcade mode against x number of other fendered
cars! Of course, the cars could use more powerful light sources, since
they appear to run only on main headlights, with no auxiliary lights
simulated.
DUH, why would you really want to drive open wheel formula cars in the
dark, anyway? Does this simulate some racing series we're not familiar
with?

Just on this point, regarding wet-weather races in GP2.
There are a couple of workable ways to simulate the effect:
1) Spray your monitor with water and let it dribble down the screen.
You'll have to repeat this operation frequently, of course. Beware of the
monitor exploding due to wet electrics though. Wear safety goggles and
*** gloves.
2) Place your fish tank (aquarium) in front of the monitor. Fish swimming
through your field of view can have a distracting effect, however.
3) Get some clear cellophane paper, crinkle it up and tape it over your
monitor. Highly effective and quite safe. This method can also be done
using shower-screen glass.

Why do you want to simulate something that never happens?
Formula one races are *never* at night?
Although I do agree wet weather racing would be great, ala F1GP1.
