What is going on with Crammand's Grand Prix series?!

I finally got around to trying GP4 and the physics model is awful. And
where's this new graphics engine they were promoting? It looks and feels
just like GP3 with slightly updated graphics. Driving the car is boring and
sterile...no where near as dynamic or fun as F1 2002.

I just did a search on the net to see if anyone had done a detailed
comparison between the two and came up with an excellent piece on SimBin
(which is a couple months old but still a good read). Here's the link.

Well, time to get back to F1 2002! :-)

'told ya so! : P

The tracks are quite accurate though.  Download Hungary (converted from GP4)
for F12002 and then you get the best of both worlds. ; )

I forgot to mention that the tracks are really well done.

I've been able to get an acceptable frame-rate with a little tinkering
however there seems to be a big performance hit with mirrors. When they're
turned on I get 40 FPS at 1024x768 with almost all details set to high. When
I turn them off it shoots up to 60 (I think this is the max for the game
BTW, since I can never get higher than this using their graphics test).

Now we just need all of the GP4 tracks converted to F1 2002 :-)
