PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

For some weird reason, the AI cars at Bristol pit at about lap 60 when I
don't have to pit until about lap 130.  I think I might have accidentaly
messed up the bristol.txt file, but I'm not sure which line I should
change.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

That would be the SPDWY line... (Of course, you could just as easily
copy the bristol.txt file from the CD...)

As someone may have pointed out, copying the txt file from the CD should
do the trick.

Should be a simple fix, without copying files, etc.  Thru Windows
"File Manager", open up your NASCAR directory.  Next, open "TRACKS".
Then open the Bristol file.  From there, open "BRISTOL.TXT". You will
see serveral lines of information.  The one you're after looks similiar
to this: "SPDWY 0 75 92"  (Should be about the 5th line.)  Okay,
"SPDWY" means "Speedway" (easy enough), the "0" means no restrictor
plate in place for that track (full power).  It's the next two numbers
that you are looking for: "75 92".  Those two numbers determine how
many laps will be completed before/between pitstops under full green,
and indicate when the AI drivers (computer cars) will begin pitstops,
and when they will complete them.  In this example, they will begin to
pit on lap 75, and be finished by lap 92... got it?  Now, to level up
your playing field, simply type in the new numbers you need, and save
your file.  They will now pit when you determine they should.  Have
fun!

You need to edit the line that starts with pitsp or spdwy I'm not sure I
though that it had it's own line but it does deal with 2 sets of numbers.
for there pit window. I have included my bristol txt file

begin 600 Bristol.txt
<uuencoded_portion_removed>
!"C P
`
end
