once renamed to the normal lotus extension are brilliant :)))
All you have to do is, once the files are extracted, rename/copy each
coventry setup from the normal extension of .co1 to .lo1
Now load up the game, and try say monaco, adjust the gears up to suit,
as often in the coventry gears are too low for the lotus.
Now go drive some laps. Get use to the understeer. It is your best
friend at monaco :) and most other tracks.
I did this and by the 4th lap with her setup, i did a 1m26s64 lap
:))))
I have since gone quicker, and am the first to get into the 25's
You really notice the difference going into the last hairpin. Use of
the throttle to balance yourself is no longer needed. Just apply the
brake, with a bit of throttle just before turn in :)
I have posted a 1m25s lap and modified setup to
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~estori85/index.html hotlap competition, along
with another coverted coventry setup and lap for zandy.
I have also tried converted monza and kyalami setups. The monza one is
pretty reasonable, but I think it has too much understeer in CG and
ascari to be really fast. The kyalami one may need a bit of work, as I
believe it has too much understeer in some critical sections, such as
the esses.
But the monaco one.....:))))) I think she might have found the "right"
setup for monaco, even if it's for a coventry ;)
