Sounds like you've got my first original converter which was a set of
add-on patches for Gerhards NCAR2ICR utility.

It was a cow to install and if you didn't install it right, you'd get
green grandstands etc.

Try downloading the latest (v2) converter from The Pits which is stand
alone and patched everything propery. And yes, you will need to start
from scratch so if you want to keep your set-up/records, backup the
files before you convert them.

: You might want to try re-converting the track. I have had no problems
: with colors.  Hats off to Gerhard! I didn't bother converting indy to
: ICR2 for a long time because I assumed I would wind up with a VGA track
: in my SVGA game. This is not the case, the track looks fantastic in ICR2
: and Nascar!!! Anyone who has seen the track from an in-car cam will be
: blown away as they come through the last turn and pull onto the front
: straight. The drive down the "tunnel" (front straight) is incredible!
: If anyone is holding off on converting this track...DON'T wait any
: longer!!

Well, I wouldn't mind being able to find a copy of it in some shop
someplace :-)   (eh, papyrus??)

: Ben.

Your colors are messed up because you might have converted the track twice.  I
had the same problem.  I got the track already converted and didn't know it, so
I converted it again and the colors were wild.  So I tried the track before i
converted it and it lokks great, so if you received it from someone it might
already be converted, if you did everything yourself, only convert once.
