Are there any good racing games where you start as a rookie driver and first
drive in karting or in some other low-class driving series and if you drive
well you could get to eg formula3 and when you would be really good in there
you could step up to f1, cart or prototype series?
And it would be really cool if you could get injured or even killed in
accidents...

I remember a game that was like that... Mario Andretti racing or
something...

A couple of months ago a game like this was released, called 'Williams
F1 racer'. Now read my lips: AVOID IT!!! It's really utter ***:-/
