Very stupid question that could lead to good stories

Hi,

Here's my stupid question.
I'm a sim fan and also a amateur beer taster ;-). I'm wondering if anyone
ever tried siming under the influence?? Personally i've never tried.. i'm
bad enough as it is.

Thanks....

Honest Abe.
My best time at The Ring is an 8:25 or 8:26. I did it on a weekend night
just running laps with a couple friends who had a league race coming up
there. 5 cans o' Budweiser in 3 or 4 hours before i did it. The Midtown
Madness series or equivalent seem like ideal slosh-fest games though ;>)

I find that even one beer will cost me 1-2sec at most tracks in GPL.

I find that 1 or 2 beers will actually speed me up at N4 tracks, after that
it seems to go a bit downhill.

I've raced may a race whilst hammered... usually when I have a load of
friends over. After a dozen beers or so it can get hysterically funny as you
try to keep on the track... especially when your mates are hurling insults,
poking you, stealing you beer and making you laugh halfway through a race.

Online *** is great fun, but having a room full of people playing
together is better... I guess to some that would make me a 'dorky arcade
racer'  :O)

Yup. None of this beer rubbish though, single malt only! It does
actually make me faster... but it also impairs my judgement when
judging the size of gaps etc. Not a good idea on VROC!

Simply put, for example, driving in the wrong direction in a VROC
race with a dozen or more other people trying to take it all very
seriously, is suddenly far from entirely out of the question! :) In
fact, it can seem like exactly THE thing to do!

Same old story - DONT DRINK AND DRIVE! :)

Maybe this is a glimpse into the future of sim racing - Electronic
voice says "Now sir, take a deep breath and blow into your Microsoft
Breathalyzer mouthpiece until you hear the beep ........... Your ***
*** level is below acceptable limits. You may now enter VROC".

                                                ????

I can race on-line in N4 on any Speedway or Super speedwaywith 15 beers in
me, but anything that requires turning left and right, braking points,
accelerating, ect... I can only have a few before my times suffer. Guess it
makes a good point about drinking and driving. Also makes the point that
Nascar ovals are easy compared to road course racing.
