Is there a good program to change .pcx or .bmp files over to .ico and .cur
files.

Thanks.

I highly recommend Microangelo.  It has a great cursor and icon editor
as well as other utilities.  You can just create a new icon or cursor
and paste in any image which will automatically be resized to fit.
It's a shareware program that you can get from:

Win95 is a good program for using .bmp files for icons.  No need to
convert.   However, it is rather a large program and may eat up to a
173mb of diskspace and about 12mb of memory. ;-)
