My GPLRank just went under............100, now switching from 3 digits to 2
digits was mainly with the new "setting" for my wheel, now I have to find
another miracle to hope getting into single digit rank.

So far I've only improved times at Kyalami, Zolder and Monaco, I still have
to play at the ring where I am above 9 minutes so far....

I fell ready to kick ass, anybody, I take you, anytime, anywhere (provided
your handicap is in the high 200's...)

Drive the ring "eazy duz it", without any spins you're gonna have to try
hard not to get below 9 min's.

Zandvoort, sorry, sorry again.

For a good modenr Zolder you have it in MBTR though, but the 'old'
(pre-villeneuve) Zolder would also be nice, VERY dangerous though.

hey-

i was at 317 or so but last night i improved my 1.50 at MONACO to a
1.41, but the internet wasnt working so i could'nt upload the time. Im guessing

it should put me somewhere in the "very high" 200's.  I would also be
interested
what you did to the wheel settings that made the difference and which wheel?

the act labs wheel, make the movmement limits smaller, so inbstead of doing
270 the wheel only makes 180, I HIGHLY recomment gtx's site
www.slottweak.com for anything regarding modifications on the act labs
wheel.

Or check the thread started by gtx on the 26/01/01 at 17:06 (CET) txl how's
the feel....

You had 9 seconds in your pocket at Monaco- do you know where it was
hiding?

Reason I ask, is that I was stuck on a 1:42 at Monaco for a long time,
struggling to control braking for the chicane after the tunnel, and I
just found the answer - do NOT brake for the chicane after the tunnel,
just ease off throttle earlier.
Result - 1:36
It would be good if you found your 9sec elsewhere, and could share the
secret!

laurence-

thanks for the advice. that was exactly were it was hiding, as
last night i was struggling to figure out what damn gear to take the
chicane. out of ten laps or so, i only made it thru clean once and then i
had way too much speed for the next left. also
the first sweeping right hander and the tunnel are difficult to get right
and still go fast.
I'm at work right now but i intend to try that secret tonight, crack open
a beer, and
watch my GPLrank drop like a piece of paper floating in a breeze.lol. 9
seconds will
certainly help tho.

thanks again and i will post the lap PB
tomorrow!

Does MBTR have Zolder as it was when Villeneuve died?
Just wondering. Thanks
