This news-group kicks butt.  I find better game reviews and game tech info
here than in any magazine.  For anyone new to this NG read on and enjoy.  If
you have any common sense you'll be able to sort the junk from the really
helpfull info.

Just my 2 cents worth.

And it's free to all also !!

That was the purpose of the creation of r.a.s. , back in 1993 with me and
Gerhard Lingenberg.  At first it was pretty small, but with the help of
everybody is grown to what it is today. It had up's and down's (many!), but
still it  is, was and will be the center of the Simracing community.  I'm
kinda proud of my "baby" ;-)   Just read it 1-2 months, learn all about it
(the FAQ also).

But when people come here, post already without knowing the newsgroup`s
netiquette and throw r.a.s. apart, it doesn`t have a place here. (to
micro$oft). You just can't know the power we can have here. Boycotting is
pretty easy for us (not that I am not happy about C:PR, it's just not what
everybody expected).

`Still it isn't no more a moderated newsgroup :-)    (should I put it
moderated another time ? hee hee)  <g>

Excuse me????  Let me get this straight.  Earlier this year you
pathetically tried to pass yourself off as the leader of RAS.  Now you
claim that you CREATED it???  Unbelievable!  You and Gerhard, huh?
Well, at least Gerhard made a significant contribution to the sim
community, creating the ICR2/N1 track convertors.  You?  About the
only thing I can remember from you is posting pirated software to make
people happyhappyhappy.

Oh well, it's start again....  Many poeple know that I created it in 1993
(January of 1993 exactly).  If you want me to put the history of the
creation reply to it....

The leader of r.a.s. was a flop for an attempt to put r.a.s. moderated in
june97. Get your point straitghs.

I just want to forget this dark period (my fault at 100%).  The Happy!happy!
things were a sign that I am here to help people, not to flame them.  Most
of the poeple know that ymenard=r.a.s.  I never flammed a simracers (except
Mr. Noonan and I am sorry about that).   I never (well, not really) posted
pirated software on websites or anything.  Get another time your
point-straight. I am anti-piracy. I e-mail Papyrus when I see people posting
illegal tracks on their websites.  The only thing I did was to post the Indy
track for Icr2 back 2years ago here.  I had a semi-approbation from Papyrus,
telling that if I wanted to send it to people it was ok, but not in a public
part of the Internet.  I was able to send it per e-mail. At this time they
were talking with some Indianapolis autorites about Indianapolis for
Nascar2, so they just told me to not post it in a public part of the net.  I
said Ok. I even received a phone call from a Papyrus employee for the track
posting.  I only did that 1 time, It was 2years ago,  and I am still sorry.
If you want more info about the r.a.s. history no problem just e-mail me. Or
reply to me.  I will be glad to make it clear once and for all.  Thanks a
lot,

LOL... Looks like your my ownly suporter here.

Ronnie is my team partner on NROS. He knows me personnaly and he can tell
you I am not the ego-centric and God type of person that I am on r.a.s.  He
told me my two biggest qualities. Able and fair.  Lol that isn`t the "me"
you all know !

Btw Ronny I saw a 196 qual at Talladega at 70degrees and no wind, without
driving in the pits (wow !). I was really amazed by that. Looks like work to
do for us ! :-(      :-)  Hope to see you back soon on NROS. I am going to
the NASA for 3weeks so I hope to race you before I go !.

I knew it was too good to last. For months the glorious leader lay
dormant, like a really bad subcutaneous blackhead. The, voila! (my
French, it, how you say, "sucks"), up he pops like a raging, pus-oozing
chin zit. Gee whiz, Fran?ois -- did you invent the telephone and sliced
bread, too?

I love it! You boost the Indy track and publicly post it -- which is
perfectly OK, because you got a semi-approbation from Papyrus), and then
you go snooping around other peoples' websites so you can narc them to
the Pap. You are one hell of a civic-minded citizen, Frankie...

How much more of this drivel are you going to spew THIS time around?
Give me a rough time frame so I can leave and come back after you've
shut up again.

My kingdom for a killfile...

Tadam! I just wanted to put some actions here. The CART:PR thread was
started to get less attention so I wanted to continue with the "r.a.s.
crisis mode"  <g>

Well....   I know people who made such things to me with the Indy track, so
why not get my kinda "revenge" on others :)

Dunno. It doesnt depend on me.  It depends on how much people get into this.
Like each time, I only start things, and the others take action.  And I
laugh, write notes, take it with a smile. Make it about 1week ? less ?

I am honored, my servant... but hey if I`m on your kill file, how can you
read my posts ?? <g> Mr. El Barto ?
