Yeah, I had something like that happen to me at Monza in my first-ever race
last nite. I got sideways with a guy coming up fast behind me, he couldn't
avoid me & took me on the right side, just ahead of the rear wheels. Well I
was sliding sideways, leaning away from him, he was on the brakes in a nosedive
& plowed right under me. I must've rolled half dozen times :^) Unreal!!!!!
The attention they paid just tears me up. I got the game last night, & it
inspired me to watch that 1966 classic "Grand Prix" again tonight. I was
paying close attention to the Spa sequence, since I hadn't raced on that track
yet. Then with it fresh in my mind I raced Spa. As far as I could tell, *all*
those little cottages, barns, etc in the movie are depicted in the game,
exactly where they should be!
And the *feel* you get driving the cars... It is just unreal, the way you can
steer w/throttle. I'm not kidding, I get an almost physical sensation when I'm
*** it right on the edge of control! Thanks, Papy, this is the racing game
