NO SOUND IN NRO...HELP!

by Iaxel » Fri, 28 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I had a previous problem in NRO with a psychedelic screen upon entering the
game. After reinstalling EVERYTHING twice, and contacting
Sierra/TEN/Papyrus/Intergraph, with no valid answers, I disabled sound in N2
and it now works fine for NRO. This, of course, presents another problem, I
CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING! Playing the Helen Keller version is not so bad for Tally,
but it takes away greatly from small tracks, where you tend to train your ear
to hearing engine sound/tire screech.I have a P133/16mb/SB16/Intergraph Intense
100 Rendition vid card. All current drivers/bios have been downloaded and
installed. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

NO SOUND IN NRO...HELP!

I had same problem go to www.scitechsoft.com and download Display Doctor 6.0
and extract . Set your sound back to the way you had it and everything should
work fine for NROS. A new problem arises in that the Display doctor doesn't
allow you to run rendition modes of the game when you are offline. It is very
easy to turn DD off however. If you figure out how to run rendition with the DD
6.0 let me know
