Something I noticed about F12001 framerate

Something I noticed about F12001 framerate

Well I finally redid my system last night and installed f12001. After
hearing that some people are having good luck with the 21.83 drivers I
decided to give them a try. I went into testing to get a feel for it and
every thing seemed ok except for the black mirrors. So after a little
messing around I decided to try FRAPS. Back into testing I went with FRAPS
running and low and behold the mirrors are working just fine now. So after a
few more laps I want to try a race. So with FRAPS still running I fire up a
quick race and the frame rate hits the ba***t. Well I loop it on the start
and  get behind most of the field. After about 1/4 of a lap my frame rates
jump up big time. Everything is fine until I loop it again. The frame rate
drops again as a AI car goes by me. I pull out behind him. The frame rate is
pretty poor until we get to some S curves. When ever the AI is out of view
the frame rate jumps back up, and as soon as I get him back in the line of
sight its right back down again. So has anyone else noticed this before? It
seems the poor frame rate has to do with drawing other cars.

Try the 7.58 drivers and running Frap 1.5 (must be v1.5) and see what
you think.

I do have fraps 1.5  :)  I have thought about going back to the 7.52
drivers. I can't use the 7.58 because they cause problems in N4 for me.

Have you tried the 12.90s? They got rid of the black mirrors problem for me.

i'm using 12.90 and i used to get mirrors, but lately i've noticed they've
been blacked out. this game is so full of bugs :/  but besides that, it's
alright.  hopefully a patch will result in better results, much like the early
GP3 patch that made a huge difference.
