I had similar problems when I had a 3D soundcard in my PC (Aureal A3D),
but it works ok now with a Videologic Sonicstorm.

If it's a voodoo1 then only 640 x 480 is available, a voodoo2 will give 800
x 600 and a TNT I think will go higher again.

my voodoo 1 gives 1,000 or something, 4 figures anyway (that's in gpl) but
could that be because I have an ATI rage3d as my normal graphics card?
