N3 "Graphics INIT Error"

Hi,

Everytime I try to boot N3 the screen blacks out like it's trying to load and
then immediately boots back into windows with the error message "Graphics INIT
error"

I am running a K6-2 350 w/ a Voodoo 3 2000 video card and DirectX 6.1.  Please.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg

There is a new directX 7.0 out that might help with this problem.

I had the same problem except my screen stayed black. I had to shut off
the computer and go through scandisk. Tried running the program a couple
of times with the same result. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same
outcome. I have directX 7.0 so that can't be the problem. Anyone have any
other ideas?

Greg...

I've been thinking about getting that exact card for my system...which is
the same as yours.  The K6-2 350.  But I didn't think it had an AGP slot.
So I thought PCI was my only option.  Does yours have an AGP slot?  It must
have if my thinking is correct that the Voodoo 3 needs one.

Thanks...

Try deleting the intro.bik file.  Worked for me!
