I've posted in alt.binaries.misc the latest version of MapEd. It now includes
lotta drawing aids (FloodFill, rectangles, undo, ... ). It also includes the
function auto-edge : Just draw the top of the hills (light green squares), and
it will automatically draw all the edges. Let me know if you have problems.

Is it not easier to press down Shift+F1 (or Ctrl+F1, it was a time ago).
In the editormode of course. From where you can edit the landscape.
Perhaps I'd mension that I've 800 tracks.
