updated 3dfx and yamaha sound card to most current...using sidewinder precision
wheel...direct x newest version-8.something...(don't understand "mobo")
don't know if i am slower or everbody else is faster...but before i could run
with the pack at least...now they just go on by and i fall further and further
behind...suppose it could be the controller--but i tried with wheel and
joystick with the same results...
am going to try older drivers and see if that works...
Just a shot in the dark, but have you tried re-calibrating your controller?

thanks to all who are trying to help...
tried SCGT and it SEEMS to be better than the others...was able to stay with
pack (til i missed a corner)...might just be older games...was late by
then...will have to test more...
