A plug for gogamer.com (which I've used before).

I ordered from them online yesterday afternoon: $50 plus $10 for faster
delivery.

They got it from Irvine CA to my obscure little hamlet in upstate New York
by noon the next day.

You can't beat that.  Heck, if you don't take the express shipping, the
all-up cost is the same as it would be if you bought it locally including
tax.

Here's a vote for GoGamer as well. Having bought at least a half dozen
new releases from, I <should> have known better than to try and save
some money and go with Sendit.com. It was like $10 cheaper with cheap
shipping, but it ain't here! They seem to get the title in advance and
ship it so that it arrives to "you" on the release date. The only time
that didn't work was with RBR.

so SimBin didn't fork out a copy for you? No respect Steve!

My review copy expired.  SimBin generously sent me a new key, but the review
copy was never ideal.  When I'd try to join any online event, a huge
billboard would pop up next to my name, "Executable Mismatch" or some such.
The other players would see this and assume I had a hacked copy and would
either refuse to race with me or just toss me unceremoniously out.  I bought
a legal copy for a couple of reasons: 1. I'm voting with my wallet for the
U.S. release of this fabulous game.  2. I don't want to have to keep going
to SimBin as a supplicant, cup in hand, begging for table scraps.

The problem with these moronic one-side-of-the-Atlantic releases is that all
the keeners will buy off-shore/import anyway, so by the time the marketing
wizards get around to a real release, half the market is gone.  My UK copy
of GTR better show up in the mail today, btw :)
